TIPS AND HINTS TO HELP WITH YOUR PREPARATION

Model and Performer's Preparation For The BIG DAY!
  • Please ensure that your child has had at least 2-3 days worth of good quality rest and sleep PRIOR to coming to the show.  This is VITALLY IMPORTANT as the stamina level of young children can fall very quickly due to lack to rest, recuperation and sleep
  • If you child is having any hair dressing chemical processes, then please make sure that this is done at least 1 week prior to the event.
  • Please ensure that your child eats a healthy, nutritional breakfast prior to arriving at the venue.  
  • All participants should be fully hydrated at least 2 days prior to the showcase.  Hydration is a very important factor with allowing not just the body to function to its maximum but also aids with helping organ, brain and energy functions.
  • All models should moisturize and, if necessary, exfoliate three days  before the showcase and then on the eve of the  event to ensure smooth and healthy looking skin on the catwalk!
  • If you are a female, then we would suggest that you have your eyebrows groomed at least 24 hours prior to the showcase.
  • Personal hygiene is a MUST so please ensure that this is adhere to.
  • Don't forget to pack all your hairdressing and make-up requirements too - together with chargers, batteries and extension lead.
  • Please pack your bag at least 2 days prior to the event and then double-check and TRIPLE check the night before to check that everything is present and correct.


Model's Rehearsal and Fitting
  • Rehearsal and Fittings will take place on the day of the show - Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Southwest Arts Center - Black Box Theater, 915 New Hope Road, Atlanta, GA 30331
  • All Models will be required to arrive NO LATER THAN 12.00pm 
  • CHAPERONES:  ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR CHAPERONE WHO WILL BE REQUIRED TO STAY WITH THEIR CHILD BACKSTAGE.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A MINOR WITHOUT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.
  • PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME AND PROMPTLY AS WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR LATECOMERS!
  • Please type or write on a small index card the NAME, AGE and MEASUREMENTS of your child and bring it with you on the day of the show This will be helpful for the designers when becoming familiar with your child and their fitting requirements. 
    The sizes that we will require are:
    For Girls: Waist, Bust (if applicable), Hips, Height, T-Shirt Size, Dress Size
    For Boys: Waist, Chest, Hips, Height, T-Shirt Size, Pant Size, Jacket Size
  • The Designers will also already have the portfolio of models available together with your child's statistics and measurements so will be ready to start fitting immediately at 12.30pm until 2.00pm (one and a half hours)
  • Catwalk run-through will commence from 2.00pm - 3.00pm for models and performers.
  • There will be a 30 minute break from lunch until 3.30pm
  • After break, models will go directly into hair and make-up. Models are also free to have their make-up service performed through the earlier part of the day if this is approved by Audrey and Krystal. 
  • Once hair and make-up has been finished, then this will be a time for the models to take a well-deserved rest and relaxation before the show.
  • Doors open for the showcase at 5.00pm and showtime will be 5.30pm PROMPT
  • All Models will be given "Participant's Numbers" from each designer which will help with the line-up procedures. This will be allocated to participants on the day of the show. 
  • Please DO NOT FORGET to DOUBLE CHECK that you have ALL YOUR ITEMS when you are leaving at the end of the day as B.R.E. Productions International, Inc and Fashion 4Wardz will not be responsible for any lost property or damages.

Performer's Check-In and Sound Check
  • All personal belongings should be stowed away safely in a lockable case with your child's name clearly labelled.  It will be the sole responsible of the Parent/Chaperone to take care of all belongings throughout the duration of the event.
  • Performers (Singers, Dancers, Actors and all other genres) will need to arrive NO LATER THAN 3.30pm and also report to the Southwest Arts Center (Black Box Theater), 915 New Hope Road, Atlanta, GA 30331
  • ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT!! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A MINOR WITHOUT A PARENT BE PERMITTED TO PERFORM
  • PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME AND PROMPTLY AS WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR LATECOMERS!
  • Please ensure that you come already dressed for your performance.
  • Please bring with you a flash drive back-up of your instrumental accompaniment with you and hand this in at the registration desk.  Your back-up flash drive should be the ONLY accompaniment on flash drive! We do not want to be scanning through the flash drive for your song!
  • All flash drive backing accompaniments should be stowed in an sealed envelope which has been marked CLEARLY with a SHARPIE or other permanent marker with YOUR NAME and the TITLE OF THE PIECE you will be performing. If you can, then you can also put a sticker on the drive too.
  • Rehearsal/Sound check will commence for Performers at 3.30pm PROMPT with no exceptions! Once again, Please ensure that you are NOT LATE as you will miss your soundcheck time allocation!
  • When your soundcheck is finished, you will be free to rest and relax before the show commences.
  • All Performers will be seated in the audience with their names on their allocated chairs which will be sited close to the catwalk so please ensure that you find your name so you know where you are positioned.

What Should The Models Bring On The Day Of The Showcase?
  • All personal belongings should be stowed away safely in a lockable case with your child's name clearly labelled.  It will be the sole responsible of the Parent/Chaperone to take care of all belongings throughout the duration of the event.
    • ALL PARTICIPANT'S SHOULD NOT FORGET TO BRING THEIR "EXPRESS YOURSELF" OUTFIT!!!
    • SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT FOOTWEAR:  We STRONGLY ADVISE that female models bring an extra pair of shoes as a back-up.  Shoes will be vetted by the Director - Audrey Beharie - to ascertain if they are suitable for the catwalk.
    • FOOTWEAR FOR GIRLS: ​ A pair of nude colored, black or neutral colored shoes and boots too together with a pair of plain inexpensive black flat shoes and other appropriate footwear that your daughter generally uses for modeling purposes. Please ensure that the height of the heel is "age appropriate" and that the model is able to walk in these shoes with ease, confidence and comfortability. 
    • FOOTWEAR FOR BOYS:  Boys can wear black or brown footwear or boots and should also bring a pair of clean sneakers (Female and Males)
    • ATTIRE FOR GIRLS: 2 plain simple spaghetti-strap T-shirts - one black and one white and a pair of black leggings and jeans (inexpensively purchased from Walmart) - See photo above to your right
    • ATTIRE FOR BOYS: 2 plain inexpensive T-Shirts - black and white and a pair of black jeans.
    • A full-length robe 
    • A chiffon or silk scarf - males and females
    • PERSONAL HYGIENE: Skincare & toiletry items (moisturizers, wipes, antiperspirant, cleansing lotions, toothpaste and brush, hair styling equipment, etc.,)
    • PACKED LUNCH: A packed lunch which contains a piece of fresh fruit, water and a healthy, nutritional meal and help sustain energy and vitality throughout the day. B.R.E. Productions International Inc., and Fashion 4Wardz will also provide snacks and beverages throughout the day for our participants only.

HOW TO MAKE MEASUREMENTS
EXPRESS YOURSELF!!!
We want ALL of our amazing Models and Performers to feel like this is THEIR SHOW
and to really enjoy the experience of being a part of our unique "FASHION 4WARDZ EXPERIENCE!"

So, we would LOVE each and every one of our participants to have the opportunity to
"TAKE TO THE CATWALK" 
in an
OUTFIT OF THEIR CHOICE TO 

EXPRESS THEMSELVES!!!!  

The outfits can be ZANY, SOPHISTICATED, FUN or just CRAZY!!
Whatever your child feels,
WE WANT TO SEE IT EXPRESSED!!

We only ask that the attire is AGE-APPROPRIATE, in keeping with the nature of our event mission statement
and free from any potential "wardrobe malfunctions"

FASHION 4WARDZ T-SHIRT
All Participants will be given their exclusive limited edition "Fashion 4Wardz Kidz Winter Jam T-Shirt"
​on arrival at the show on Saturday, December 17th on registration.  
This T-Shirt will be worn during the Opening Ceremony of the Show with whatever you would like to wear to express your child's own PERSONALITY, CHARISMA and FASHION STYLE!!!

YOUR  FREE COMPLEMENTARY TICKETS FOR ALL PARENTS TOO!
Also, we have decided to give ONE PARENT a FREE COMPLEMENTARY TICKETS for the event which will enable them to not just have access to the backstage area to accompany their child, but also the opportunity to

PERFORMERS 
**Performances should be no longer than 3 minutes and 20 seconds in duration.  
**Please ensure that you musical accompaniment is edited to this length in advance.

By submitting the Registration to the FASHION 4WARDZ/ VOCAL ZONES USA and BRE PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL, INC
you are agreeing to the following below:
BRE Productions International, Inc and Fashion 4Wardz, its directors, associates, or any other personnel associated with the organization will not be held responsible for the loss of personal items, injury, theft, or illness. We will have permission to use the photographs taken at any of our events for publicity, promotional and for use on our website, publicity and any other media and promotional material. Judges decisions are final. Any Contestant, relative or guest displaying sportsman-like, crude or unsavory behavior will be disqualified and monies will not be refunded. All use of photography or video filming is prohibited by any person in attendance.  All video and photography will be reproduced in a reputable and discerning and refined manner. All returned checks will incur a $35 fee.  On completing this online Registration, you are agreeing to the regulations and agreement of BRE PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL INC./FASHION 4WARDZ and will do what is necessary to observe our statues.   In the event that this is not adhered to, then, unfortunately, the Finalist will be disqualified and any prizes awarded will be returned forthwith to BRE PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL INC/FASHION 4WARDZ  immediately.
